Choose the surface family before touching paint.
Plain walls, floors, dark door areas, and repeated props are easier to copy than mixed textures. If the room has many bright colors, pick one surface family and commit to it instead of making a messy multi-color body.
- Wall routes reward clean broad paint and a flat pose.
- Floor routes need low movement because the outline is easy to read.
- Shadow routes forgive imperfect brush edges.
- Prop routes work when the pose makes your body look like part of the object cluster.
